26 Feb 2023

A workshop curated by Teresa D’Agostino, architect and landscape architect, and Marianna Merisi, landscape architect and illustrator.

Some of the plants that grow around us come from far away in space and time. They can tell us stories of botanical journeys and great adventures.
Their classification in Vulgar Latin contains secret information about many of their properties: their origin, shape, colour, the people who discovered them, whether they flower by day or by night, and whether they have thorns or are silky.
During the workshop we will unveil some of these secrets and children will make their own botanical notebook using magic boxes, pencils, crayons and watercolours.
