From early childhood, children begin to sense and then recognize their own bodies, also comparing them with the figures around them.
In this workshop, we start by playing with our shadows to draw the outline of a face, then study the bones and muscles of the skull to understand how a head can move. We’ll discover that there are hidden lines connecting the ears, nose, and mouth, and we’ll practice making lots of sketches to create portraits with endless poses and expressions.
