In Hong Kong, the wealthy diplomat Ogden Mears is traveling in a transatlantic. He spends the last night of his journey with Natascha, a Russian countess. The next morning, while sailing back home, he finds Natascha hidden in his cabin with no documents and determined to seek a new life in America. Ogden’s love for Natasha causes an endless stream of misunderstandings and complications, especially when Immigration requests Natascha’s documents and hi wife Martha arrives on board.
